Rob Hailey is the founder and principal of RCH Consulting, bringing over 40 years of leadership experience to his role. A seasoned professional committed to organizational and individual excellence, he is passionate about helping people achieve success.
Through focused listening, active inquiry, and thoughtful questions, he helps individuals and teams better understand and discover solutions to the issues they are confronting. Over the course of 40+ years in management and leadership positions, Rob has over 7,000 hours of experience coaching and engaging both large and small organizations, as well as multigenerational clients at different aspects of their career.

Professional Experience:
Rob has over 40 years of experience in higher education including both large public and private institutions. Throughout his career, Rob’s responsibilities and reporting structure have included student affairs/services, academic departments, finance and administration, campus facilities and operations, as well as human resources. In these roles, Rob led and managed large and small capital projects; executed various organizational redesigns and reorganizations; selected and managed third party business partners; and managed budgets more than $25 million and staffs of ~80 FTE and over 300 contract employees.
Key areas of contribution include:
Executive Director of the Tulane University Leadership Institute 2021-2024
Led a staff of two with responsibility for the development and implementation of faculty and staff leadership development programs which included an Emerging Leaders Program; Anti-Racism Leadership Program (in partnership with the Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion); customized programs for specific units and operations on campus; internal coaching program and assessment offerings including Clifton Strengths and Emergenetics.
Senior Associate Vice-President for Campus Services 1999-2021
Led the management at various times for the following areas at Tulane University: Campus Recreation; management of the Student Center; University Card Services; Shuttles & Transportation, Parking Services, Print, Copy, and Mail Services; Campus Computer Store, Dining Services, Campus Cafes, Vending Services, University Bookstores, Retail Leases, childcare centers, cell towers leases, and campus contract management for Coca-Cola, Xerox, and FedEx. Following Hurricane Katrina, in addition to the reopening of the services noted above, I served as the Interim Director of Student Housing and was responsible for the reopening of existing campus housing as well the opening of temporary housing for faculty and staff including overseeing the management of a cruise ship on Mississippi River.
Assistant Dean for Executive Education at the A.B. Freeman School of Business 1993-1999
Led the operation of Executive MBA programs in New Orleans and Alexandria, LA. Also assisted with the development and implementation international Management/MBA programs in Taiwan/China, Mexico, Ecuador, and Chile.
Teaching Experience 2007-2021
Served as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing in the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane where I developed and taught a relationship marketing class to fourth year students as well as a management/leadership seminar course for first year students.
